The Job

• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects, including breakdowns, PPM, equipment updates, and installations

• Complete PPM activities on schedule and provide feedback to improve the system
• Collaborate with cross-shift engineers for effective handover and information sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement of plant and maintenance activities
• Enhance equipment performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of replacement parts
• Repair equipment safely and communicate progress to production teams
• Manage remedial engineering works as directed by the Engineering Manager
• Report safety risks and ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
• Maintain excellent communication with production staff and co-workers
• Uphold good housekeeping standards and company disciplines

What You’ll Need

Education/Experience:

• Recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical trades, preferably with apprenticeship experience
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ideally proficient in Electrical Installation (17th Edition)
• Mechanical fabrication and electronic fault-finding expertise
• Ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with flexibility to work unsocial hours
