JS Recruitment’s Sarah Knight completed The Prince of Wales Hospice Cyclothon on Sunday raising over £300 for patient care. Sarah cycled with 450 other participants across the Wakefield District taking in Pontefract, East Hardwick, Ackworth, Hemsworth, Wentbridge, Kirk Smeaton and Darrington before passing Xscape to the finish line at Pontefract Park.
Sarah said:
“It was great to see so many people taking part in the Cyclothon to raise money for such a worthy cause. The event proved to be a great start to our fundraising efforts for The Prince of Wales Hospice 30 for 30 campaign as we celebrate their 30th anniversary. We’re a third of the way towards our goal of raising £1000 and look forward to taking part in more events throughout the year to smash this target!”
