Our client is one of the UK’s leading mechanical and industrial engineering specialists who work with a wide variety of blue-chip customers. They are growing their team and now require a Boiler Operator.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A BOILER OPERATOR:

• Performing routine daily inspections including testing of boiler function and chemical feed water treatment.
• Recording daily operation logs and reporting any anomalies in the boiler to the maintenance team and management.
• Determine if the risk from the boiler are at acceptable levels or if any additional measures are required to achieve this.
• Operating and adjusting steam boilers.
• Maintaining a safe operating environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Proactive and highly motivated.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED AS A BOILER OPERATOR:

• Full driving licence.
• BOAS Qualification
• Previous experience of completing daily inspections, testing water treatment and recording the results.
